VALLEY JR. WARRIORS - JUNIORS
ALUMNI: Beaulieu Shines in Debut, Named NEHC Goaltender of the Week

Congratulations to VJW alumni and New England College freshman goaltender Anthony Beaulieu was named the New England Hockey Conference Goaltender of the Week!

In his first two career starts, Beaulieu delivered an impressive performance, recording 63 saves and leading the Pilgrims to a 1-0-1 record in their weekend series against Norwich. On Friday, in his debut start, the freshman stopped 32 shots over 65 minutes, keeping the game tied through overtime. In the shootout, Beaulieu was perfect, denying all three Norwich shooters to secure the shootout win. The following night, Beaulieu delivered an even stronger showing, stopping 31 shots in a 2-0 victory, earning his first career shutout and handing Norwich their first NEHC loss of the season.

For the week, Beaulieu stopped 63 of 64 shots, posting a .984 save percentage. The only goal he allowed was a powerplay tally on Friday. With this outstanding performance, Beaulieu currently leads all qualified goaltenders in the NEHC with a 0.44 goals-against average and a .985 save percentage.

Beaulieu began his career with the Valley Jr. Warriors in 2022, first playing on the EHLP team before moving up to the EHL team the following season.
